ANZCO volunteers help plant natives

A group of employees from the Corporate Office headed up the Port Hills in Christchurch recently to help the Summit Road Society replant an area of native bush affected by the Port Hills fires.
Nicholas Hay, Commercial Finance Manager; Ryan Astle, Digital Marketing Manager; Carly Flowers, Financial Analyst; Suzanne O’Connor, Senior BI Developer, Ben Zeylemaker, Environmental Coordinator; and Keighlee Baker, Communications Coordinator, helped to plant 600 native seedlings – despite a muddy trek in and freezing cold wind up on the hills!
Our volunteers said it was great to get out, connect with colleagues and other volunteers, and make a difference to biodiversity in the area.
