NZFAP/NZFAP Plus changes

The NZFAP and NZFAP Plus standards and handbooks have been updated for 2023. NZFAP v5 and NZFAP Plus v3 are available from the NZFAP website, or you can email us to request a copy. We’ll be providing NZFAP farmers with an overview of the changes. 

From 1 October 2023, Quality Consultants New Zealand (QCONZ) will be the new NZFAP audit provider, replacing AsureQuality.

QCONZ is a privately-owned Hamilton-based assurance provider with staff across New Zealand. 

Audit services will not be impacted by this change and AsureQuality will continue to deliver audits on-farm until the end of September 2023. From 1 October 2023 when QCONZ takes over, the only difference will be the branding on the vehicle and the auditor.

In addition, from 1 October QCONZ will also audit ANZCO Foods’ premium supplier programmes.
