Toyota Hilux prize draw

Posted on Thursday, 3 February 2022

In 2022 the agricultural industry’s response to taking responsibility for its agricultural emissions will continue to be a focus. Through He Waka Eke Noa we have an opportunity to influence how we manage this. He Waka Eke Noa has set some goals to demonstrate to Government that we’re serious about finding an alternative to the Emissions Trading Scheme. By the end of this year we need all farmers to know their greenhouse gas numbers, and by the end of 2024 all farmers need to have a Farm Environment Plan.

To further encourage you to have a Farm Environment Plan, ANZCO is running a prize draw for two Toyota Hilux utes.

Having a Farm Environment Plan is also part of NZFAP+ which is an extension of the existing Farm Assurance Programme that includes three additional components: people, farm and natural resources, and biosecurity. NZFAP+ is about continuous improvement and requires a Farm Environment Plan.

We encourage you to sign-up for NZFAP+ and have support available to help you complete the NZFAP+ questionnaire that’s required to start this process. You can find out more about NZFAP+ here New Zealand Farm Assurance Programme | NZFAP | NZ Farm Assurance Incorporated and if you’d like some support or require more information email sustainability@anzcofoods.com.

ANZCO farmers with a Farm Environment Plan and who have signed up to NZFAP+ will be eligible for the prize draw. We’ll be doing the draw at the end of the year to give people the chance to get this important piece of work done.

We’ll provide more information on the Hilux prize draw in the coming weeks.
