ANZCO Foods CEO update - August 2023

The team at ANZCO Foods knows that the human toll in producing food and fibre in New Zealand is too high. That’s why we have got on board with Safer Farms and signed the Farm Without Harm Pledge to join the movement to be part of the solution to protect people in the industry.

Farm Without Harm is a strategy and action plan which has been developed by the agricultural sector, for the agricultural sector.

We agree that the time has come to set new standards, reject attitudes of “she’ll be right” complacency, and do what we can to ensure the whole system approach to health, safety, and wellbeing is at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Always.

You can help by watching the Half Arsed Stops Here campaign video and sharing it with your family and friends, encouraging them to sign the pledge and get behind the campaign.

You can also get involved with regular farmer-led workshops to come together to learn from each other so we can all up our game when it comes to harm on farm. Each workshop will be a different topic, led by farmers, with practical takeaways and expert advice.
