ANZCO Foods CEO Update - November 2024

Posted on Thursday, 14 November 2024 under Latest Edition, CEO Updates

At ANZCO Foods, we support the wellbeing and good health of our communities in a range of ways.

A couple of years ago, we formalised our relationship with the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue Trust which provides a lifeline for people in rural communities, our sites and those who work and play in rugged rural environments, where the speed of a rescue helicopter can save lives.

The Trust carries out more than 1,000 rescues a year and is supported by fundraising and volunteers. The team at the Trust is dedicated and enthusiastic about its work and we’ve enjoyed building a relationship with the team and supporting its fundraising.

This week a group from our Corporate Office visited the rescue helicopter and flying doctor base to learn more about this important service, and thanked the base crew by cooking up Angel Bay burgers.

During our visit Fairlie farmer Andrew Hurst shared his rescue story and the difference the prompt response made to his recovery. You can read more about Andrew’s story on page 16 of ourNovember Advantage magazine
