Ashburton fire station barbeque

The Ashburton Volunteer Fire Brigade marked 150 years of service in the Ashburton region in November.

Engineers from ANZCO Foods Canterbury hosted a barbeque at the Ashburton Fire Station to celebrate this milestone.

Some employees at Canterbury, including Health and Safety Manager Vicky Sibley and Dave Allan from the Canterbury Lamb Cooling Floor, are part of the volunteer fire brigade. It was a great opportunity for the ANZCO Foods team to show its appreciation for these employees and the wider volunteer firefighter team and recognise the work these people do to keep the community safe.
