Canterbury contractors meeting

ANZCO Foods Canterbury had more than 50 contractors from companies involved in the site’s maintenance programme at their pre-shutdown meeting.

The session outlined expectations around communication, roles and responsibilities, SiteWise induction, and the Permit to Work process. Site supervisors also walked through the specific requirements for their areas.

Engineering Manager Jacques Vosloo said the strong engagement set a positive tone for the three-week programme and was a great opportunity to make sure everyone’s on the same page about health and safety.
