Canterbury Salvation Army donation

ANZCO Foods Canterbury donated product to the Ashburton Salvation Army Foodbank earlier this year.

The Salvation Army in Ashburton has seen a 200% increase in people in the Mid-Canterbury region needing assistance with providing food and were finding red meat difficult to source for people in need. The meat ANZCO Foods donated has been processed into mince, sausages, and smaller mixed meat packs that has been well received by the community.

The Salvation Army came to site to personally thank the ANZCO Foods Canterbury team and present them with a plaque to show their appreciation. It’s incredibly rewarding to see a donation make such an impact in one of our local communities.
