• Have a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers

• Avoid using family member or pets’ names or important dates, like your year of birth or anniversary

• Use unique passwords for each account or app

• Avoid sharing any passwords with friends, family, and coworkers, or writing down your password where it could be found

• Enable 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) on your accounts
