Directors visit North Island sites

Last week we concluded the ANZCO Directors’ New Zealand site visit programme for this year, with visits to ANZCO Foods Manawatū, Rangitīkei, Eltham, and Waitara, as well as our associate business, Taranaki Bio Extracts.

You’ve heard me say how much I appreciate the opportunity to tour the sites – this time three ANZCO Directors give their feedback.

Andy Macfarlane says, “Having recently toured all sites, I’d like to pass on my congratulations to all site managers, and all team members for the work they’ve done in presenting the sites in the good state they are, and the processing quality outcomes. Without this teamwork, ANZCO would not have been able to produce a positive financial result in a difficult year.”

Mike Petersen says, “It has been a real pleasure visiting ANZCO sites over the past two weeks, with the hospitality and welcome being first class as always. The sense I get from being onsite with the teams is an engaged workplace that takes enormous pride in the work they all do to make ANZCO Foods successful. From the people in the facilities, to the supervisors and managers in offices, it was clear the culture is healthy and reflects the values we are trying to live within ANZCO. It was enormously satisfying to see this in action over the past few weeks and thanks to all for making this happen.”

Rachel Taulelei says, “A huge ngā mihi for some great visits across the North and South Island sites. Operations were running smoothly, the positive team culture stood out as did the strong leadership, and we not only felt super welcome, but extremely well informed. Looking forward to more fantastic results, only made possible by outstanding teamwork.”
