Meet Gareth Gibson-Kent

Process Worker at ANZCO Foods Manawatū

Gareth has been at ANZCO Foods Manawatū for seven months in his role as a process worker. This involves preparing the carcases for further processing, and making sure the carcases meet certain standards, like halal and food safety requirements. Since joining ANZCO, he's been pleasantly surprised at how quickly he felt like part of the team.

Before coming to ANZCO he worked for Alliance in Levin as a slaughterer. He also used to work as a chef - his claim to fame is that he won awards in this role!

While Gareth says he loves to work, he also enjoys cooking and sports, including tennis and skateboarding, and anything outdoors.
