I AM HOPE Fundraiser

Steve Gamble and Regan Broker, supervisors at ANZCO Foods Canterbury, and their bowls club, have raised $14,226 – and counting – for I AM HOPE.

They held an event to shave their mullets on Friday 3 November, followed by a spit roast dinner with meat donated by the site as well as a talk from I AM Hope representative Michele Cogger. The video of the shave is available on Facebook.

One of their friends made a bet that they wouldn’t make their goal of $10,000, and said if they did, he’d get his back waxed. He too has had to make good on his promise – I’ll spare you the photos, though.

Thanks to everyone across the business who contributed to this fantastic fundraising effort.
