Ben Zeylemaker

Environmental Coordinator at Corporate Office

Ben has been in the Environmental team based out of the Corporate Office for eight months, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and resource consents across ANZCO sites. He's previously worked for Environment Canterbury in an advisory role.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys diving, tramping, cycling, running, skiing and lowballing people on marketplace. A healthy portion of his time outside work is spent out in the elements with his adventure-wired partner Tess. 

He's an avid cyclist and enjoys cycling to unwind after a busy day - he says that his 10km cycle commute home is a great way to clear his head. You may have seen him participate in Movember last year, where he set himself an extra challenge to walk, bike, or run 1,000km to raise funds for men's health in November. His love of cycling may have stemmed from the time he won a bike from a colouring competition when he was six years old.
