Meet Celicia Wessels

Senior Business Analyst at ANZCO Foods Corporate Office

Celicia has been part of the ANZCO Foods Corporate Office team for 10 months as a senior business analyst. 

As part of her role she plans and manages business analysis activities throughout projects - defining scope, requirements, and deliverables, conducting research, facilitating workshops, and creating models and documents. She's the bridge between business and technical teams, translating business needs into functional specifications for developers and testers. And if that's not enough, she also helps improve ANZCO's processes and methods. Since starting at ANZCO, she's been pleasantly surprised at how friendly everyone is - the environment is welcoming and engaging, and she says ANZCO is a place where you feel valued and part of something great from day one. Previously, Celicia worked at Alliance, Aliaxis, Synlait, and Anglo American platinum mines in South Africa. 

Outside of work, Celicia enjoys paying and coaching netball, and watching sports like rugby, cricket, and - of course - netball. Her claim to fame is that she received a netball ball signed by the Silver Ferns in 2019 after being nominated for volunteering as a netball coach. She also enjoys spending time with friends and loves a spur of the moment getaway. After a busy day she likes to unwind by reading a good book with a glass of red wine.
