Meet Esther Gorton

Environmental Advisor at Corporate Office

Esther is an Environmental Advisor at the Corporate Office, supporting ANZCO's environmental compliance requirements and helping implement regulatory changes. You'll often find her visiting sites, farms, and collaborating with other parts of the business, or in the office with her Climate Change and Sustainability teammates. Since joining ANZCO around 18 months ago, Esther has been surprised at how many people, teams, and departments there are within the organisation!

Before joining the team, Esther worked an irrigation Scheme in Canterbury managing their consents, farm environment plan auditing programmes, and hydrology investigations. 

Outside of work, Esther enjoys Pilates, catching up with friends, gardening, and going home to her family's farm in Cheviot. Her favourite way to unwind after a busy day is getting outside - ideally when the sun is shining!
