Jen Robinson

Knife Hand at Eltham

Jen is in her fifth season as a knife hand at ANZCO Foods Eltham. Her role includes trimming and sorting offal - that's livers, hearts, tongues, etc!

When she first came onboard, she worked in the boning room, but then went away and raised family. Now her youngest daughter has gone to high school, so she's returned to work - and we're happy to have her back on board! She says that even though they work with the same people and product each day, there's always something to keep her on her toes. She's also made good friendships out of her time at ANZCO and enjoys getting to know her team and socialise with them after work.

Jen is married with seven children (two of whom also work at ANZCO Foods), and has nine grandchildren. In a past life, Jen was a supervisor at Fonterra, and a supervisor at Pizza Hut.

You might recognise Jen from winning a Toyota Rav4 Hybrid in our Car & Cash vax prize draw in 2022. She's taken her car all around New Zealand since then, heading to Hamilton, Whakatāne, and more! Her other claim to fame is that she won the 1993 NZ Women's Singles Darts Championship.

Outside of work, she takes care of two of her grandchildren every weekend - and at three years old and one year old, they keep her occupied! She also enjoys playing darts, travelling, and spending time with her family.
