Meet Toni Green

Production Trainer at ANZCO Foods Waitara

Toni Green is the go-to person for all things training at ANZCO Foods Waitara. She handles new employee inductions, keeps training records up to date, and makes sure that all staff are correctly and competently trained to meet requirements. Toni has been surprised at the diversity at ANZCO - she says it's awesome to see the range of ethnicities, cultures, and religions, even just at Waitara alone.

She started at ANZCO Foods in 2008 as a weekend shift process worker while also working as an in-home caregiver for an elderly woman, and was also an accredited Kiwisaver distributor. She then took on a role on the night shift at Waitara where she stayed for many years before becoming a leading hand on the day shift, and then moved into her current role. Before that, she was a boner at Tegel Foods.

When she's not working, you'll find her relaxing in a hot spa with an ice cold water, enjoying good food and good music, sharing dinners with her family each Saturday, and travelling with her husband around the North Island.

Some of Toni's family are also part of the ANZCO Foods Waitara team. Her middle child, Tyla, now works full time at Waitara after working there part-time while studying, and her youngest, Astan, is AGF's afternoon shift rawside leading hand. Her daughter-in-law Kassy, her eldest son's partner, was a process worker and QA for Waitara before becoming a catcher at Tegel Foods. Toni and her high school sweetheart-turned-husband (who have been together since Toni was 13) bought a home and raised their children in Waitara, so the area is well and truly home for them!
