Meet Lynell Arnott

Administration Support at Manawatū

Lynell has been with ANZCO Foods for 28 years - though when she first started here, ANZCO Foods Manawatū was known as Riverlands. She mainly worked in processing, and did a variety of things including trimming, packing, vacuum packing, and more! She started her administration support role last year, which involves helping out the site administrator, being in charge of training records, processes invoices, accounting, and does admin for engineering two days a week. She also has her permit receiver and issuer certificate. She's surprised that she's still working at ANZCO - this is only the third job she's had!

When she gets home after a busy day, she unwinds by reading a good book. Outside of work, Lynell is the leader of the local air scouts' group and has more than 15 years of service under her belt. Recently the scouts put on a model railway exhibition, where Lynell set up her Harry Potter model railway layout with the Hogwarts Castle and the Hogwarts Express.

Lynell is married with five children (her husband has two kids, she has two, and they have one together), and she has two grandchildren - a boy and a girl. Her and her husband's shared favourite quote is ‘build a bridge and get over it’ - so they got married on a bridge!
