Meet Madeline Berry

Health and Safety Coordinator at Corporate Office

Madeline - known as Maddy - has been part of the health and safety team at ANZCO's Corporate Office for five months. In her role as Health and Safety Coordinator she supports sites with their contractor compliance requirements, health and safety reporting, and procedure and document updates and auditing. Since coming to ANZCO she's been pleasantly surprised at the amount of development and training opportunities available.

Before joining ANZCO she was a Senior Recruitment Consultant at a recruitment agency, and in this role she developed her love for processes and her passion for helping people. Her claim to fame is that, when she won an award while in this role, Hilary Barry said she was ‘bloody fabulous’, which Maddy says she'll never forget!

Outside of work, Maddy enjoys reading, baking, board games, escape rooms, and nature. After a busy day she unwinds by going for a walk around Styx Mill Conservation Reserve. She recently got engaged to her partner Adam - they met in university when she sat next to him in a tutorial! They lived in Wellington for eight years, but they built their first home in Christchurch so made the move back to the South Island once it was ready.
