Meet Mark Shaskey

Engineering Supervisor at ANZCO Foods Marlborough

Mark has been part of the team at ANZCO Foods Marlborough for 11 years. His role involves a little bit of everything - maintenance, IT, and more. His career has also involved a little bit of everything; he's worked on fishing boats in Mauritius, in the mines in Australia, and has also built aluminum boats. He enjoys working at ANZCO because of the variety - every day is a little bit different, and he never knows what he's coming in to.

Outside of work, he enjoys motorbike riding - he does quite a bit of biking - and fishing. He says he doesn't really unwind as he's always on the go. Mark has been married for around 20 years, and has a 13 years old daughter. When his daughter was 11, his wife and daughter decided to bring him a few beers one night…and a few more…and a few more…and that's the story of how the family got their pets, a two year old cat and a two year old dog.
