Meet Steve Dickie

Head of Foodservice at Corporate Office

As Head of Foodservice, Steve says his role includes juggling, being a fireman and repairman, and being nice to customers even when you don't want to. He's been part of the ANZCO Foods team for eight and a half years and in this time has also worked in the retail department. When he first joined ANZCO he was surprised that the reporting we used was well behind the times (though that's now changed) and he's also surprised that we forecast a loss some months of the year. Before joining ANZCO, he was the South Island Manager for British American Tobacco.

Steve's claim to fame is that he was the first person to set off the fire alarm in the Corporate Office building - but is definitely not the last!

Outside of work, Steve enjoys boating and motorbikes - he'll often take the long way home on the motorbike to unwind after a busy day. Steve is married and has three children who are all more than 20 years old.
