Meet Troy Nielsen

Storeman at ANZCO Foods Manawatū 

Troy Nielsen has been at ANZCO Foods Manawatū for nine and a half years. He's the storeman, meaning he orders PPE, packaging, and more, and he also runs the storeroom, making sure PPE is ready for workers and visitors to use. Since starting as the storeman around seven years ago, he's been surprised about the flexibility of his role.

Previously he worked on the slaughter floor at Manawatū, and before that, he was a courier driver. He moved to New Zealand from Australia around ten years ago - and as the only Aussie at Manawatū, he's frequently reminded that he likes cheating at sport!

Outside of work, Troy enjoys fishing, surfing, and diving. He also loves his pets - especially his Australian Cattle Dog, which you can see on his computer background in the photo above. He enjoys winding down by spending time in his garden with his pets - dog, chickens, rabbit, and cat.
