Meet Wade Halliday

Leading hand at ANZCO Foods Canterbury

Wade has worked at ANZCO Foods Canterbury for seven and a half years, starting out as a drum operator and then moving into his role as a leading hand in fellmongery. His role includes performing start up checks, chemical testing, MPI meetings, and leading his crew safely. Since starting at ANZCO he's been surprised at the kindness shown between different cultures. Prior to working at ANZCO, Wade worked packing crayfish for Live Lobster Southland.

Outside of work, he enjoys Maker's Mark whiskey and watching speedway. He also enjoys watching movies and playing with his daughter, and spending time with his fiancée Casey - who also works at ANZCO Foods Canterbury in the drystore. 

Wade and Casey are getting married this Saturday, 14 September, and we wish them all the best for the big day - and for their future together!
