Meet Zane Tomlinson

Climate Change and Sustainability Coordinator at Corporate Office

Zane has been working for ANZCO Foods coming up six months after joining the company straight from Lincoln University in November. He studied a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) and completed a Master of Management in Agribusiness in February.

His role as CC&S Coordinator includes looking at sustainability practices across all ANZCO sites, on-farm sustainability, carbon certification, and emissions reporting.

Over the past few years while studying, Zane has completed summer and part-time work on sheep, beef, and dairy farms, as well as a good mix of different hospitality roles.

In his spare time, he rears and finishes calves on his West Melton property, enjoys farming, hunting, horse racing, and the gym – particularly Crossfit. In fact, his favourite way to unwind after a busy day is with a good gym workout!

Zane’s claim to fame is that his mum was a women’s All Black!
