New gear at Rangitikei

ANZCO Foods Rangitikei has just installed the first lamb loin boning machine in New Zealand, which will help increase the yield of higher value cuts.

It was developed by Scott Technology and is the second machine of its kind – the first machine, the prototype, is currently operating in Australia.

The team at Rangitikei is working through some minor commissioning issues, however even with these issues the machine is already performing above increased yield expectations.
