New Zealand Axe Ferns

Emma Shaw, Registered Nurse at ANZCO Foods Canterbury, represented New Zealand in woodchopping at a competition in Adelaide in August. She competed in double sawing, where two members of the team work together against other teams to cut a tree trunk in the shortest time.

The race was close and New Zealand was just pipped by Australia. Emma says she was grateful for the experience and gained a lot of knowledge about competing at a high level.

ANZCO supported Emma to travel to Adelaide for this competition, and we’re proud to have another New Zealand representative as part of the team at ANZCO Foods.
