NZFAP Chew the Cud event

Today I attended the Chew the Cud event in Hastings, aimed at providing our suppliers with information on the NZFAP Plus programme.

There was a fantastic turnout, with 75 farmer suppliers in attendance. We also had a great lineup of speakers; Vangelis Vitalis, Deputy Secretary Trade and Economic; Cameron Bagrie, Economist; Matt Chisholm, Otago farmer and former TV reporter; with the day facilitated by Melonie Sheppard, Sector Manager Meat and Fibre Primary ITO.

This is the first event in the series of ‘Chew the Cud’ events; the next is in Palmerston North on Tuesday 4 June.
