Ross featured in national news

Ross Hawthorne of ANZCO Foods Canterbury, who’s been planting natives near the Hakatere River in Ashburton for the past three years, has recently been featured in Stuff and Farmers Weekly.

His project recently received a grant for the Ashburton Water Zone Committee, which will help him achieve his vision of establishing a native forest along the river.

Ross and his group of volunteers have recently cleared a large patch of weeds and are putting in a walking track near Chalmers Ave.
