Waitara celebrates Blue September and Māori Language Week

The Coldstore department at ANZCO Foods Waitara organised a hangi for their team during Māori language week. Supervisor Barry was the head chef, and all employees contributed – bringing or preparing the food or cleaning up.

The site also raised nearly $400 for prostate cancer through their Blue September fundraiser activities, which included a meat pack raffle, swear jar, and Jingo night (like bingo, but numbers are replaced with snippets of songs).
