Waitara’s Health and Safety day

The ANZCO Foods Waitara Health and Safety Committee recently organised a training day for site first aiders, focusing on realistic scenarios they might encounter on site. Using makeup to recreate injuries like chemical burns, participants practiced treating these situations hands-on.

This approach meant the first aiders were able to practice what they’d learned at their first aid courses and these scenarios are helpful to build skills and confidence for emergency situations.
