ANZCO Foods CEO Update - February 2025
Posted on Wednesday, 19 February 2025 under Latest Edition, CEO Updates
Did you know that any business whose employees or contractors come on to your farm has joint health and safety responsibilities with you, for the areas on your farm where those employees go?
For ANZCO Foods this means we have joint health and safety responsibility with you for our livestock representatives and contracted drivers working in your yards and the access way.
We know these joint responsibilities aren’t new but we’ve been working with software company Onside to develop a solution to managing these requirements and make it easier for us all to meet them.
Using Onside can replace the existing manual system that’s being used to capture that you have an induction process in place and who’s been inducted; and you can use it to let people coming on to farm know about existing hazards and risks. Onside can also be used to easily capture new risks and hazards.
There are other ways you can capture these health and safety requirements but ANZCO Foods has chosen to work with Onside.
We’ve already rolled out Onside to our livestock reps and intend rolling it out to transporters and farmers in 2025.
We’ll keep you updated.
