ANZCO Foods CEO Update - March 2025

Posted on Friday, 14 March 2025 under Latest Edition, CEO Updates

Our thoughts are with those around the country dealing with drought conditions. We recognise these times can be challenging and if you are struggling, we encourage you to take advantage of the resources available to support you, your family and employees. We’ve listed some of the resources available later in this update. Please also stay connected with your ANZCO Foods Livestock Representative so we are best placed to provide you with certainty around processing space being available when you need it.

The ANZCO Foods team recently attended the Wānaka A&P Show, one of the South Island’s largest agricultural events. With more than 44,000 attendees and more than 500 trade exhibitors, the event was a great opportunity for us to connect with the farming community. Our team, including several of our livestock reps from around the South Island, enjoyed engaging with farmers while offering samples of our premium beef and lamb.

The ANZCO Foods site featured a range of games and interactive activities, for visitors to learn more about our brand in a fun and engaging way. The Wānaka Show provided another excellent opportunity to continue sharing our message of nutrition and good health, building on our sponsorship of the ANZCO Foods IRONMAN event in Taupō at the beginning of this month.

This year, we had a crew of more than 20 participating in the IRONMAN event, proudly wearing the ANZCO kit, while a crew on the ground helped showcase the ANZCO brand. Four ANZCO Foods’ farmers joined us for the race, and it was a privilege to get to know them better as part of their IRONMAN journey. You can read more about this experience in Rick’s market update next.
