ANZCO Foods CEO Update - September 2024

It’s all too common to hear negative comments about working our industry. You’ve probably heard them too: it’s hard to get good workers; it involves long hours and it’s a tough physical job.

That’s why events like the annual butchery competition are so important. They counter all these perceptions and celebrate the exact opposite.

ANZCO Foods is proud to sponsor Butcher Apprentice of the Year section of the awards recognising the talent and the expertise of the young people who are demonstrating their passion for the work they do, as well as their skills.

These young professionals are ambassadors for our industry, and events like the annual awards help to attract our future stars and demonstrate it can be a fun and rewarding career.

Our farmers are world-renown, and ANZCO Foods is proud to work with them to carefully craft a range of New Zealand’s finest beef and lamb products.

The ANZCO Foods Butcher Apprentice of the Year provides a great platform for us to showcase these products through the talent of these up-and-coming butchers.
