Introducing NZFAP+

New Zealand’s Farm Assurance Programme has been developed to include a new voluntary sustainability standard.

As well as the foundation standard, NZFAP+ includes three additional components: people, farm, and natural resources and biosecurity.

NZFAP+ is about demonstrating and communicating sustainable farming practices to New Zealand and the rest of the world.

Once you’ve completed the NZFAP foundation programme, you can apply to become a member of NZFAP+. You then carry out a self-assessment that will help determine the aspects of your business you need to work on. You have up to three years to meet the required standards and be audited by an AsureQuality independent auditor.
