NZFAP+ | Hilux prize draw
Be in to win one of two Hilux utes
Know your greenhouse gas numbers, have an emissions management plan, and be in to win one of two Toyota Hilux utes!
ANZCO Foods is running a prize draw for two new Toyota Hilux utes to encourage farmers to sign-up to NZFAP+, know their greenhouse gas numbers, and have an emission management plan. And, any ANZCO Advantage members who sign-up to NZFAP+ will get double points in 2022.
The environment will continue to be a hot topic during 2022. The industry’s response to taking responsibility for its agricultural emissions will be a big focus. Through He Waka Eke Noa – the Primary Sector Climate Action Partnership – we have an opportunity to influence how we manage this.
He Waka Eke Noa has set milestones to demonstrate to Government that agriculture is serious about finding an alternative to the Emissions Trading Scheme. By the end of this year, we need all farmers to know their greenhouse gas numbers and by the end of 2024, all farmers need to have an emissions management plan.
ANZCO is running the prize draw to encourage farmers to get a plan. One Hilux will be for eligible farmer-suppliers in the North Island and one for those eligible in the South Island.
Having an emissions management plan is also part of NZFAP+ which is an extension of the existing Farm Assurance Programme that includes three additional components: people, farm and natural resources, and biosecurity.
To be eligible for the relevant Island prize draw, you will need to have signed up to NZFAP+ and completed module 3.9 of the NZFAP+ standard which requires you to have an emissions management plan and know your greenhouse gas numbers.
New Zealand is known for having the top pastoral farmers in the world. NZFAP+ recognises and formalises farmers’ environmental stewardship.
NZFAP+ is about continuous improvement in the environmental space and taking part will help keep you on track in this important area of your operation.
We’ll be doing the prize draw for the two Hilux utes on 15 December 2022 to give you the best opportunity to get this important piece of work done well.
We have support available to help you complete the NZFAP+ questionnaire that’s required to start the NZFAP+ process and to assist with completing module 3.9 of the NZFAP+ standard.

NZFAP+ has a strong environmental focus and a prize draw for two Hilux utes doesn’t seem that environmentally friendly...
ANZCO considered a range of vehicles before settling on the Hilux utes weighing up the usefulness of vehicles on-farm and their emission rating.
