NZSL Week - Tuesday's sign of the day
Posted on Tuesday, 7 May 2024 under Culture and Belonging
It's New Zealand Sign Language Week!
We've found some signs that might be useful at work and will be sharing them each day this week. Try them out!
Today's phrase is good morning. This is made up of two signs, produced one after the other.
Check out the picture on the right, read the description below, or check out the New Zealand Sign Language Dictionary for video demonstrations (good, morning) of how to produce this phrase.
Good morning:
Make a ‘thumbs up’ gesture.
Then make an ‘ok’ gesture while bringing your hand up & right in an arc.
