Keeping your home warm and dry helps you stay healthy and reduce your power bills this winter.

Check out these tips to help you do this:

  1. Dry your clothes outside, near an open window, or in a dryer that’s vented to outside, to avoid the moisture from your clothes making your home damp and cold
  2. Shut doors to rooms you don’t need to heat, and close curtains before the sun sets to keep the heat in
  3. If you have a draught, tighten hinges on doors and windows and use draught-stopping tape around windows and doors. If you don’t have draught-stoppers you can roll up a towel and place it against doors to stop draughts
  4. Open windows or use an extractor fan when having a shower
