John Moses

Knife Training Co-ordinator

I'm passionate about showing people how to use the equipment they are given correctly and safely.

I started at ANZCO in 2002 in the  processing room before becoming a labourer in lamb further processing. From there I’ve worked my way up progressing to a butcher role and then I did some leading-hand work and step-up supervising, before moving into my current role where I train all new staff who are going to use knives in their day-to-day jobs.

In my time in ANZCO I’ve had great support from supervisors, managers and our on-site training advisor who have helped me upskill and try new things.

The main thing I enjoy about my current role is the people and being able to meet new people from all over the world.
