Agri-Women’s Development Trust Leadership Programmes

The Agri-Women's Development Trust (AWDT) offers leadership training designed to expand the number of women equipped to lead and govern in the agricultural sector.

In New Zealand, women are pivotal in farming collaborations, contributing diverse skills to the decision-making process. However, they only represent 6% of leadership positions in the rural industry. Women in these areas encounter distinct challenges and obstacles to leadership development, often juggling farm support, family responsibilities, a career, and community involvement.
